Anyone can father a child. Having done so, I can attest to its simplicity.

Obviously, I’m not talking about couples who are trying desperately without success. That is another issue. If that’s you, my heart goes out to you.

We hear about it all the time. Deadbeat dads, single moms… It’s sad, really. I can’t say I’ll ever understand.

The moment I saw my son for the first time I cried. I loved him so much already. He’s my son, my baby boy.

So far, he’s 5 days old. I’ve been peed on, pooped on, and spit up on…but, you know…he’s just so adorable, and I know that feeling isn’t going anywhere.

I’m a daddy now, and he’s my beloved son.
