OK…so I may be in the minority…

It’s not that I don’t understand people wanting to be able to run the newest Windows (Vista, since 7 is in beta) on their current hardware. I do… And yes, it should be made to run on the lowest possible hardware requirements and not lag.

But am I the only one who would love to see an OS that just blows me away? I’d love to have a system that flashes and moves in 3D. So I have to build a new system to run it? Ok.

Eventually you have to move forward. I’m always disappointed when the next Windows comes out. I want to be visually stunned just as much as I want it to work. I have visions in my head of how an OS could look and feel, and I know I’ll never see it as long as the moves forward are always met with, “but that won’t run on MY hardware!”

I’m not entirely sure what my point is…or if I even have a point, but let the whiners stay where they are. The rest of us will be using next gen. Just don’t be mad when you’re still running XP and I have my awesome 3D OS.
